Seems our Classmate/Batchmate, Suiza Chua, has been making a name for herself in the US.

Sad Announcement

Mehetabel Liamson Sy of Section 4 passed away yesterday morning March 11, 2008 due to a freak accident at their factory compound.

Her remains are now at Funenaria Paz, Chapel B7. Cremation will be held this coming Sunday.

I would like to thank Sandra Gotauco-Chua and Antonio Sy for sharing this opportunity to contribute on the GCHS '82 BLOG. I think it's a wonderful site to correspond, exhange pics, catch up and update on what we have missed all these years. Life is short and we have to enjoy it and what better option than to share this wonderful feeling with cherished friends?

I have to be honest with you, I really do not know much of what's going on with all. I had a very welcomed surprised moment when Sandra, Evelyn, and others came to Mom's wake last November '06. Who else would provide support during those hours of need?

I had been living in the US since 1989 right after I finished my physical therapy degree. Lived in Houston then moved to Washington DC and had been here since 1991 which makes me a DC native to this very transient city.

Now, I will be the first one to brave the picture sending on this site - hopefully all of you will follow suit. Thank you again and I would like to welcome all our classmates to post your blogs.
